Then here is a picture I have been working on outside of class and inspired by some sculptures I saw and sketched and thinking of all the girls that are "sold" into the sex trade.
Are we really for sale? Do we value our sisters, daughters and friends so little? We are all worth so much, each and every one of us, and yet we take away people's worth every day through war, prejudice, violence, sexual abuse and the hurtful words we say. Isn't it time we stopped and started to do things to ourselves and others that show our worth?
